Vi Hoang, Of Counsel
Ms. Hoang is no stranger to the immigration process. Her entire family entered the United States in 1979 as refugees. Having experienced first-hand the complexity of the legal system while adapting to a completely new life, culture and language, she is determined to help others maneuver through what can be a formidable, tedious and confusing process.
In 2002, Ms. Hoang graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in just 3 years, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies. After working at a Los Angeles law firm for a few years, she attended Southwestern Law School in 2007 while working full-time. During law school, she received an Alternate Writer award in the Intramural Moot Court Competition and worked as a Westlaw representative. It was apparent from the beginning that she had a talent and passion for research and writing. She also completed an externship at the Office of the U.S. Trustee where she quickly learned about the intricate workings of the U.S. government. These skills would eventually prove to be invaluable in the immigration field. Ms. Hoang moved to Austin soon after she graduated Southwestern Law School and is licensed to practice law in both California and Texas.
Ms. Hoang brings to the table a special set of tools that allow her to efficiently and effectively represent all types of clients affected by our dynamic immigration laws. She is aware of the focus and patience required to successfully handle the various legal and personal hurdles you may be facing. That in-depth understanding combined with her ability to be tenacious, compassionate and innovative makes her uniquely qualified to advocate for you and your family.
In her free time, Ms. Hoang practices yoga, runs and walks her two dogs daily. She is also licensed to teach yoga and is a strong believer that physical health and mental health are intertwined.
